Some inspirational mood boards, pics taken from pinterest and Jimmy nelson of course.
Really loving this project that our art/fashion/decorative designers gave us. It's about the soul in clothes and how we resemble ourselves in the tradiontion of our clothes. So simple yet magestic. The Mongolian nomads became heavily influnced by the Mongol nomads, the word nomads make me think of the one and only Avatar movie which I happened to adore. The mongolian traditional wear are especially terrific on weddings, while the scandinavians- Sweds went for the oh-so sublte blue and yellow mongols choose be colorful and bright but as my teacher said; the people got their naturalcolors from the earth. As in flowers and shells if you/us modern peopole didn't know, that can be done. As one of the assigments also has to do with making boxes for the outfits and accessoaries we're going to do my head swamps with ideas...Blue with golden colouring? Or maybe some intense patterning need to be done? I simply don't know which way i'm swinging. Well this is only the first day of the assignment, call me crazy but I like to get a head start. Going back to the drawing board.

He looks very fierce...

From Jimmy Nelson's amazing work in 35 tribes. I simply adore the way he's gotten the lighting in this photograph, maybe i'll use this fur for my design
